If you’re looking for some simple new appetizers, or simple ways to liven up your meals, buy some Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese. It’s definitely my new favorite ingredient, and it’s a staple at the lodge this year. So, our holidays are also bound to be a lot more cheesy this year! Here’s some absolutely delicious ways to create easy starters, sides, and meals:
- Smear a thin piece of pastrami with Boursin and roll up a steamed asparagus spear
- Stir Boursin into your mashed or baked potatoes
- Stuff large mushroom caps with Boursin and bake
- Small toasts or crackers smeared with Boursin and topped with smoked salmon or a smoked oyster
- Halve a dried fig and stuff with Boursin and a Spice Walnut (or other nut of your choice)
- Stir Boursin into peas cooked in butter, and add a little cream
- Make a creamy pasta with Boursin (add peas and cooked bacon too)
- Stir Boursin into mac and cheese
- Add Boursin into potato salad
- Stir Boursin into tomato soup, and add fresh herbs
Basically, any way that you use cream cheese, think about using Boursin.
