No one had an agenda, or even needed to shop for anything, but we managed to spend a full day in Austin. We did some shopping, including a fairly new Goodwill (GW Boutique), at 3910 Far West. It’s definitely worth a stop. Trader Joe’s, Costco, Natural Gardener, Spec’s, HomeGoods, and Sprouts all made the list of stops. Lunch was at Hecho En Mexico, and I had some great fish tacos, but the margaritas aren’t what they used to be!
Definitely, the star of the day was dessert at Lick (ice cream), on South Lamar. They have very scrumptious ice cream, and some fairly unusual flavors. Their dairy comes from Mill King, and then they work their magic on it.
