Author: Lanie Fioretti

My name is Lanie Fioretti and although I am not a classically trained chef or a degreed nutritionist, I have been studying food and nutrition voraciously since the early seventies. After working in public health and private practice for 22 years, I retired my dental hygiene license. I have taught cooking classes at Whole Foods and Central Market, done product development for a bakery in east Texas, catered, and been a personal chef. I usually think of myself as an improvisational cook!

Christmousse

This is one of the easiest, most luscious, gourmet desserts you will ever make.  I’ll give you the base, then you can go crazy with additions.  Never underestimate the power of Nutella! Something that connects us to other humans?”  We have lots of fresh foods and ingredients…

(Breakfast) Baked Peanut Butter and Banana Oatmeal

Posted on December 10, 2014 by Lanie Fioretti

You’re noticing a breakfast theme by now – I just can’t stop!  And no picture, because really all baked oatmeal looks alike. I didn’t add egg to this recipe, because I created it for a client that can’t eat eggs.  If you want to add egg, reduce the milk to 2 cups. Print(Breakfast) Baked Peanut…
