The wind has really helped with the pecan harvest. There are so many pecans, it’s hard to keep up. Because of all of the planted areas around the house, it’s like an Easter egg hunt to find some of them. These are just from a couple hours of gathering. In total there’s at least 200 lbs in feed sacks, and there are so many more that haven’t fallen yet. Our little dachshund is happy to pick them up, but of course you’ll never get them out of her mouth.
