This is still one of my favorites. They have good chips and hot sauce, and they bring cheese dip too. I had mixed fajitas the last time, but Don had a great shrimp dish with at least a dozen large shrimp. They’re at 232 Cove Terrace (254-630-5218). Click here for their website.
Baytown Seafood and Thai (Gatesville)
Now here’s a place I thought I would never walk into. However, I have a good friend that really likes it, and she’s a pretty darn good reliable source. So I went by there when she was eating and got to taste a couple items – pretty tacky of me! I am not a fried seafood fan, but I tasted the fried shrimp and they were some of the best I’ve had. They’re extra large, butterflied open with a light batter on them. And I tasted the curry chicken soup, and it was very good, but you have to add the heat.
I ordered the shrimp fried rice to bring home, and there were 4 huge shrimp on top of it. From what I got to taste, I really liked it, Don finished it before I knew what happened!! I hope my next experience is as good.
