El Monumento, Georgetown

Posted on April 28, 2015 by Lanie Fioretti

On the way home from Austin, after all the shopping, we were starving, and decided to try the Monument Cafe’s – Tex-Mex restaurant – El Monumento.  It was good Tex-Mex, definitely a healthier version.  I had a great Shrimp Chile Relleno, and Don had Grilled Carne.

Service was a bit strange, the staff was young (and seemed a little confused!).  The building was a difficult to find – we had sketchy directions, and the signage was not great.  We decided that next time we’ll go to the Monument Cafe.
