We’re enjoying the first harvest from the greenhouse. There were a few salad greens, and some baby kale, spinach, and mustards. OK, I couldn’t wait until they got bigger, and they were delicious. I cooked the kale, mustards, and spinach like I usually do – fat in the pan, greens, Tony Chachere, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
I don’t want to forget to tell you about my new way to get rid of ants. We had a container of canola oil that we were never going to use, so I poured a little on all the ant mounds, in the greenhouse, before I planted. Apparently, ants don’t like oil. After trying all the natural solutions I’d heard about, for the past couple years, it was so simple.
