It was great to have green beans, for the couple weeks, while the weather was somewhat decent. So, I had to try out new ways to cook them. Because we love Asian flavors, Ginger Garlic Green Beans is our new must-have side dish! It’s incredibly delicious.
Ginger Garlic Green Beans
Ingredients
- 2 lbs green beans, trimmed
- 1-2 TBSP grapeseed oil (or other neutral oil)
- 5-8 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 TBSP minced ginger
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, optional
- 1 TBSP soy sauce or tamari
- 1-2 tsps Simply Asia sweet ginger garlic seasoning
Instructions
- Boil green beans in salted water, until crisp tender. Drain and set aside.
- Heat large skillet on medium high. When hot add oil, then green beans. Sauté green beans until they start to brown.
- Make a well in the center of the green beans, and add garlic and ginger. Cook garlic and ginger briefly, then toss well with green beans.
- Add the remaining seasonings, and toss well.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
