I know the picture is not exactly of ham loaf, it’s of sliced leftover ham loaf, fried! I forgot to take a picture before I fried it. As you can see, it’s fabulous this way. Check the instructions at the bottom of the recipe. This is one of my go-to recipes for leftover ham.
Ham (Meat) Loaf Two Ways
Ingredients
- 3/4 lb ham, ground (I use my leftover ham for this, and grind it in the food processor)
- 3/4 lb other ground meat - like pork or turkey
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk, cream, or half and half
- 1 TBSP chopped parsley and/or celery leaves
- 1 TBSP yellow mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Pepper
- Cook crumbled bacon
- Green pepper, diced
- Leftover cooked spinach
- Leftover mashed potatoes
- Cheese

Instructions
- Heat oven to 350.
- Combine all ingredients.
- Form a loaf on a greased baking pan.
- Bake for about 60 - 75 min.
- If you have leftovers, cut thick slices. Heat oil in a large skillet. Dredge the slices in flour, then beaten egg, then panko. Fry, and oh yum it's delicious.
