Near the Magnolia silos in Waco is a really good new Mexican restaurant, Hecho En Waco. While you’re there, visit the few little speciality shops, and pie shop, in the same little center. Because I can’t resist shrimp and jalapeño wrapped in bacon, that’s what I ordered. Since I’ve had this same dish at a number of Mexican restaurants, I can definitely say that this one is superb. Also, when they bring chips and salsa, you also get a little of their bean dip with corn.
