Forgot to post this in enough time to tell you about the Cork and Fork event in Meridian tonight (Sept 30), sorry. The next one is Oct. 28 at The Red Caboose Winery.
If you happen to be in Gatesville and are hungry for Korean food, go to Burger Boy (I know it’s strange!), 1901 East Main Street, (254) 865-7944. They have really good Beef Bulgogi, and you get a side of great fried rice with it.
If you’re to be going to the Indianapolis area the end of November, or you know someone who lives in that area, my brother, Skip, is opening a new bakery / tea room. It’s Tea Buds at 111 West Main, Carmel, IN (next to Joe’s Butcher Shop), and of course they’ll have bubble tea. I’m sure the pastries and cookies will be awesome, Skip has been in the restaurant business since the 70s.
