On a weekend trip to the hill country, we discovered some great places to eat and shop. We spent one night in Burnet, and one night in Kerrville. For shopping, Llano is a clear winner. For food, Hill Top Cafe Fredericksburg is outstanding and a must for any trip in this area. I’m sure any meal is exceptional, but we love brunch. For brunch, have eggs benedict, crab cakes, escargot, gumbo, or blind pig – all delicious.
