Pests are always a problem in our greenhouse and garden. This is my second year to use this insect spray for organic gardening, and it’s been really effective. For particularly stubborn aphid problems, I still blast the veggies with water, too. Because there’s a potential to burn some plants, make sure you test any you’re unsure of. And always spray late evening or early morning. Sometimes, beneficial insects (like bees) are around in the morning, so I usually spray at dusk. If you are blasting with water, do that at any time.
The plants that are the most susceptible to burn from this spray (in our garden) are the chards and potato plants. All the brassicas stay healthier, if I spray every other evening. In addition, tomatoes, spinach, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, and squash plants all thrive with regular application. Persistence with this insect spray is really helpful in controlling moths, worms, aphids, mites, and even mosquitoes. Occasionally, I add a little BT to help control the pesky moths that destroy greens.
