Jack Allen’s Kitchen

Posted on January 4, 2013January 4, 2013 by Lanie Fioretti

Navajo Taco

After spending a few days inside during the holidays, I decided it was time for a trip to Austin.  Spending an hour at the AT&T store put our hunger over the edge.  So, our next stop was Jack Allen’s Kitchen.  As usual it was delicious.  This is the Navajo Taco with fried spinach.  There were so many flavors, and a great combo of veggies and chicken from local farmers.  You just felt like you were getting healthier with every bite.

Other than that the trip was uneventful.  We tried to pick up chicken at Ms P’s on Congress (to take home), but it was closed, so it’s on my radar for the next trip.  We tried to go to Big Red Sun, and they’ve closed their retail for good.  They’re only doing landscape design now.  The only thing left to do was shop, and we did.
