Don and I aren’t real fans of Valentine’s Day, but we usually go out to have a good meal. However, we try to avoid the actual day. We had initially chosen Wildfire in Georgetown, because it’s always been so good. But, when I looked at recent reviews, they were discouraging, so we decided on Jack Allen’s Kitchen. We had such a great meal, and everything was locally sourced. I had Pumpkin Seed Pesto Marinated Chicken Breast with a Portobello mushroom stuffed with artichoke gratin and a goat cheese drizzle. Don had Chorizo Stuffed Pork Tenderloin Medallions with roasted garlic cream sauce, chunky red smashers, and chef’s veggies.
