After reading the article in this month’s Co-op Power Magazine, I’m really intrigued by this type of gardening. Since it works so well in drought areas, and we’re supposed to have another summer from hell, it seems like the thing to do. In some of my current raised beds, I’m hoping to have compost stacks put in them. I’ve asked for it for my birthday – not very exciting, but when you consider I got 3 large piles of rocks moved for my husband, for a Christmas present, well it seems perfectly logical! Another resource I found on line is from Rice and includes the best things to plant and what to avoid trying to raise in keyhole gardens, click here.
