Lamb Chili

Portland is always a great destination for me.  It’s gorgeous here this time of year (I’ll post pictures soon), and it’s home to some places I love to shop, like Pendelton and Columbia.

Of course there are always important food related things to do!  We got to try liege waffles at a great little spot, and had lunch at a fabulous Vietnamese place.  But really the most fun for me is food shopping and preparing.  My niece made a delicious stew this week.  She used ground lamb, but beef or deer would work too.  Although you can serve it as is, it’s really good served over mashed cauliflower, mashed potatoes, or noodles.  Click here for a link to the recipe we used, but we didn’t make the raita.
