I was fortunate to travel to Laredo, and stay on a friend’s ranch. Surprisingly, Laredo is going to be one of my new destinations – I love it. We ate our lunches at a fabulous old hotel on the Rio Grande, La Posada.
The second day, we split a kobe beef burger, and mahi mahi with cactus salad. Everything was so scrumptious, we didn’t want to venture out anywhere else. Not to mention the margaritas – to die for good.
Our recreation after lunch was shopping. And the shopping, spectacular. I don’t know why anyone would go through the hassle of crossing the border. We came home with an amply packed Suburban!
