Halibut season started Saturday, and our best chance for fresh halibut will be today (Monday). It would be nice to be lucky enough to get some, and if we do, we’re firing up the smoker.
It’s been a pretty uneventful day, McMenamins for breakfast, market by the river, made French lentils with collards, and got some of the best BBQ ever. We managed to avoid too much of the rain, snow, and hail. Yes it did it all, but we made it to sunny and beautiful this afternoon.
