There will continue to be information coming out about GMO crops and the effects on animals and humans. This study, published in June, is particularly significant, and will give you pause. Unfortunately, we’ve been lulled into believing that if it’s on the grocery store shelves, it must be OK to eat. So, most people think there are no decisions to make about food, except for whether it tastes good or doesn’t taste good, or whether it causes weight gain or not.
While we can’t control a lot of what goes on around us, we can make choices about what we eat, and the quality of what we eat. Once food becomes a priority, the vast majority of prevalent health issues can be controlled or eliminated. It’s become common thinking that medication can control all the disorders that we believe are inevitable, but it’s just not so. Having worked in hospitals for lots of years, and privately with debilitated people, it’s easy to observe that medications, taken long-term, produce their own problems. So, it follows that whatever we can do to maintain our own health will be of the most benefit. It’s only a matter of time until the full impact of the insidious effects of our food supply are realized.
