One of the simplest of appetizers, that everyone loves. If you reduced balsamic for the Pork Chops and you have some leftover, you may want to use it for this. If you don’t have leftover, make some more, you’ll thank yourself later.
Parmesan and Reduced Balsamic
Ingredients
- Balsamic vinegar
- Small block of Parmesan or Romano, cut or broken into chunks
Instructions
- Place balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan and reduce by half over low heat. When reduced it will be slightly sweet and thick. Oh go ahead, do a whole bottle because you'll use it. It's great on cheese, strawberries, pork, chicken.....
- I like to place a little in the bottom of the serving dish and place the cheese on top, but you could certainly pour it over the chunks. Bet you can't eat just one!
This balsamic reduction is to die for! I can lick it straight off the plate.
