Plaka Greek Cafe

Posted on April 24, 2014 by Lanie Fioretti

It’s hard to believe I stopped somewhere other than Jack Allen’s, when my brother and I went shopping in the Round Rock area, but I’ve been wanting to try Plaka for a long time.  It’s at exit 261 (Williams Rd) on I-35 in the Georgetown area, near the NW corner.  If you like Greek food, this is a must stop.  It’s cafeteria style, and very delicious.  I had a combo plate with chicken, beef, meatball, rice, tzatziki, and Greek salad (way too much for me to eat!).  We also had pita, and dolmas – both really good. Their pita is some of the best I’ve had.  You notice there’s no pictures, because once again, I was so hungry that I didn’t remember, until I was halfway through.  So, go to their site to see the food – Plaka Greek Cafe.  We’re already planning another trip!
