Portland Sans Halibut – Day Five

Posted on March 20, 2012August 22, 2016 by Lanie Fioretti

We tried, but there is no halibut to be had, none of the fishermen are in yet. We continued our McMenamins tour today, then went downtown Portland to Southpark seafood restaurant.  I’m not sure I could even tell you what  all we ordered, but it was all delicious, and below is a picture of the interior.

Tonight we smoked some chickens and some cheese on the Traeger Wood Pellet Grill. They were amazing. One chicken I prepared with Michael Symon’s recipe, and the other with just Frankly Delicious.  Both were excellent.  And now we have to look at getting the Traeger grill / smoker because it’s so fast and easy and does an unbelievable job.  What’s one more thing in the backyard.
