Salted Caramel Rice Treats

Ingredients
- 14 oz bag caramels
- 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 (10 1/2 oz) bag miniature marshmallows
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup caramel mixture
- 3 tsp sea salt, divided use
- 8 cups toasted rice cereal

Instructions
- Stir ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium low heat until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
- Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with nonstick foil.
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium low heat. Add marshmallows and stir with a spatula until almost melted.
- Stir in vanilla, 1 tsp of the sea salt, and 1 cup of the caramel mixture. Then stir in rice cereal. Press mixture into the pan in an even layer.
- Spread the remaining 1 cup of the caramel mixture over cooled cereal. Sprinkle with the remaining 2 tsp of the sea salt.
- Chill and cut into squares.
