Smoked Meatloaf

Posted on August 1, 2016 by Lanie Fioretti

So, one of my recent food experiments was with meatloaf.  Don loves meatloaf, and when I mentioned Smoked Meatloaf, he acted like he had found the promised land.  I just figured it would have to turn out really good, and it certainly did.  Now, I know not everyone has a smoker, but if you do, make your best meatloaf.  Then, put it in a disposable aluminum pan and put it in the smoker.  I smoked ours at 300 for 2-3 hours.  How hot the smoker is, and how thick the meatloaf is, determines your cooking time.  At this point, I’m not sure we’ll ever eat meatloaf baked in an oven again!!

If you need a great meatloaf recipe (to make your smoked meatloaf), check Don’s Meatloaf, or put meatloaf in the search line below, for other meatloaf recipes.
