Stuffed Figs Wrapped in Prosciutto

Posted on February 26, 2013 by Lanie Fioretti

It’s looking like you guys may not be fig lovers, but I’m going to keep trying.  They are great naturally sweet bites.  I mostly use dried figs, so they are always in my pantry.

Ingredients

  • Cream cheese
  • Cranberry fig jam, or other of your choosing
  • Pecan or walnut halves
  • Dried figs
  • Thin slices of prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise.

Instructions

  1. Mix equal parts cream cheese and jam.
  2. If the figs are plump, you might be able to stuff them with the cream cheese mixture and nut, otherwise just place them on a flat side of the fig.
  3. Wrap with a strip of prosciutto.
