The only questionable part about the seeds for summer broccoli, is that Monsanto is involved. For all the garden and vegetable enthusiasts, it would be great to have broccoli that would grow in the summer.
Apparently Johnny’s Selected Seed is also involved, and it looks like there will be an open pollinated version. That means that seed companies, more in the public domain, will likely be selling the seed.
