I’m so glad to have the rain and get my rainwater tanks filled again, and get to go to the swimming hole that was too dry to swim in last year. The water is perfect right now, and it’s a great place to relax and forget about everything, and pretend like you’re on vacation because it’s so gorgeous. After working in the yard and garden, it’s the best cool down. It is a private area, but I thought you might enjoy the pictures. There’s lots of great places in central Texas like this, where you have a fabulous time and not spend a dime. Even the city parks in small towns like Gatesville are gorgeous, shady, and a great place for me to spend an afternoon planning my garden and menu strategies, and figure out my new attacks on the deer and bugs.
