Treat Your Turkey Well

Posted on November 21, 2011November 22, 2011 by Lanie Fioretti

It’s worth it!  Food borne illness is not uncommon around the holidays, and a good bit of it is because food like turkey sit around at room temperature too long.  For good information and guidelines, click here.

Also, don’t forget to clean your can opener blades (electric or hand) every time you open something.  There’s a lot of bacterial growth on the residue left when you open something.  It’s like using a fork with dried food on it when you eat!

I’m glad you guys are blogging with me, thanks for reading.  I’ll still be posting everyday during the holiday, if you feel like coming back!  On Friday I’ll give you some suggestions for leftovers.  Have a great Thanksgiving.
